Building Rating

Building rating systems are becoming more prevalent in today’s turbulent energy market and the push to become more environmentally conscious. By utilizing rating systems such as Energy Star Building Rating, ASHRAE’s Building EQ and USGBC’s LEED® building rating a building owner can rate where their building stands in comparison to other buildings when it comes to energy usage, occupant comfort, and sustainability.

Determine your buildings energy usage through retro-commissioning and building modeling.

Why get your building rated?

Building energy labeling programs provide you, the building owner, along with tenants, potential owners and tenants, and building operation and maintenance staff with information on the potential and actual energy use of a building. This information can be useful for a variety of reasons:

Allows the building owner to compare their building to peer buildings to establish a measure of their potential for energy performance improvement.
Potential buyers or tenants can gain insight into the value and potential long-term energy savings over the life cycle of a building.
The results can be used to guide the building owner in maintenance activities and equipment upgrades to demonstrate return on investment for energy efficiency projects.
Provides building maintenance staff with a tool to determine when building systems are not operating properly and service is needed.

One Stop Energy Services
can help you determine what the best building rating system is for your building and provide guidance/assistance on obtaining that rating.
